Data doesn’t always trump the refusal to face facts. But a few good apps—and maybe even a suite of tools—might help to apprehend and prosecute more of those who think no one can see what they do, so long as they do it online.
Let’s show these criminals that their digital escapades can be traced. We need to democratize the collection of network data and the capture of network frames. We need easy-to-use apps that “just work” and might actually help the victims of digital crimes like mobbing. In this short post, I’ll share a technique that could be codified as a mobile app victims can use to collect evidence of stalking.
