Where there’s a Will, there’s a way

The winds have kicked up today and, as usual, my mobbing neighbors are up to no good. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d advise an N95 mask in case any particulate blows your way. At any rate, it’s so dangerous for a woman to own a home in the City of Albany, California, that I have willed the childhood home that only recently transferred into my name to a nonprofit land trust and cooperative. This is an option that women in my position may feel they are forced to take, if only to protect their homes until they have adequate time to create a well-considered Trust. If their mobbing neighbors murder them before they’re able to make the optimal arrangements for their homes, at least the properties will not fall into the hands of predatory criminals and profiteers. This is what it comes to when you’re a woman living in mobbing towns well-staffed with block coordinators and neighborhood watch captains like the City of Albany, California.
