[April 8, 2024: This morning I heard the mobbers accessing the drain/sewer lines and injecting water or air into them. A few minutes before that, I think it was, I also heard the beeping of a truck moving into position. That was around 4:30am, though I’ve recently been woken at 3:00am too. Feel free to drop by — maybe look for large vehicles backing up near sewer access somewhere nearby. They’re still doing the same thing, though the effects change with the countermeasures I take.]
A recent repair to an old toilet led to an uncapped sewer line cut by contractors in a remodel a few decades back. It’s not the first thing I’ve found that connects back to a remodel poorly executed and apparently without the guidance of licensed plumbers and electricians.
There was an immediate improvement in overnight mobbing noise when the line was cut down. And since the part came and the line was sealed, there was further abatement. This despite the early morning sounds of the lowlife and his scum co-conspirators shooting water or air into my plumbing lines, probably through some low-pressure part of the drainage or sewage system.
A Berkeley electrician told me a few years back that some locals are using generators to harass others. I can’t be sure it’s a generator but it’s clear that my mobbing neighbors–some of them past or current city workers–are accessing plumbing lines to disturb the sewer system.
Where is the inspection process that Albany residents support with their tax dollars. Does Albany have a vested interest in letting contractors get away with sabotaging your home? And a bit of information on how the City of San Pablo, California handles code infractions in houses on the market.
Stay tuned.
